I am considering a move from the commie state of MD to a more tax friendly DE.
Problem is, I legally own some NFA firearms, and apparently DE does now allow short barrel items or suppressors.
What are my options?
I have been looking for an inexpensive side-by-side coach gun to be used with my ShortLane chamber adaptors ( http://www.gunadapters.com ) and found this used rig on Gunbroker.
It is a Chinese 20" 12 ga coach gun imported by Century Arms, and for the price, it fits my intended purpose.
It's...
I think my next rifle purchase needs to be an IWI Tavor.

Never thought of myself as a fan of bullpups, but if there are good for the IDF, they are good by me.
Any insight into this rifle by the MDS faithful?
A Kalifornia case that bears watching...
It appears that in the judges opinion, if you have already been approved to CCW, or if you have the equivalent of a handgun permit, the waiting period between purchasing and receiving your purchase is unconstitutional.
At least that is how I read...
It's not high tech, and it is really quite simple...
In order to change the present MD 'way of thinking' of our entrenched legislators, we need to remove those people and replace them with people who will "preserve, protect, and defend" the Constitution.
So how do we remove them?

Interesting gun. Anybody here ever handled one of these?
Says in the article that they have been produced since 2007 and have been adopted by the Turkish military and police.

As I sit here cleaning my P226 which is filthy after a class, I thinking...
Years ago, I worked in 2 different industries where we cleaned precision parts in an ultrasonic cleaner.
As I'm looking at the parts in my hand, I'm thinking... wouldn't it be great to just drop everything in a tank...
Has anyone handled this one yet?
The specs look like standard 1911 fare, but I'll defer to the 1911 experts before I look further.

I know this is the Rifle section of MDS, but this post just didn't seem appropriate in the Handgun section. :)
Even though it is classified as a pistol, I have a hard time calling this thing a 'handgun'.
I just received the latest Rock River catalog the other day and right on page 4 is...
Has anyone seen this sorry-ass thread on M4C?
http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=65729
The people on M4C continue to amaze... and disgust me.
What a bunch of nut lickers. :sad20:
They act like a gun can't say "Bushmaster" on the roll marks, and still be a good gun.
To those...
I have in my hands my dads Borwning Citori Invector Plus, which I don't know a lot about, but he certainly liked it.
My dad passed a year ago and this gun went to another family member.
I asked to use it to shoot some sporting clays at Pintail Point, so I have it now.
Don't know a lot...
I currently own a Mossberg 590 Marine (with the marinecoat finish).
Mine has the 20" barrel and the tube holds 8 rounds of 00 buck with one in the chamber. Total of 9 rounds.
For a number of reasons, the 20' barrel seemed to be the right model to buy at the time, but my needs have changed...
This was the first day shooting my LaRue/LaRue (upper/lower) combo since putting the new lower under her.
Background info:
The upper is LaRue Stealth with an 18" ion-bond barrel and 13.2" hand guard.
Optic is a Mueller 8.5-25x44AO Tactical Mildot on a LaRue SPR-E QD mount.
Bipod is a...
I have a rule in my collection. Only 4 calibers allowed. (it's an ammo thing)
.223/5.56, 9mm, .22, and 12ga are what I collect.
So... a 9mm AR could fit into my plan, but I understand that they can be problematic if not built correctly.
So who builds a reliable 9mm rifle that is drop...
My new years resolution is to do the paperwork to turn my 16" carbine into a ~12" SBR.
In addition, while I'm at it, I want to get a can I can use on the SBR, my SPR, and occasionally on my Zimmerman precision .22
This is the patient.
The paperwork is confusing enough... When does it...
I recently bought a pair of Magpul B.A.D (Battery Assist Device) levers and had the opportunity to install them today.
The first one went on my Bushmaster CQB carbine.
Install took only minutes and after a function check, I declared it good.
The next one was installed on my...
