I have a rule in my collection. Only 4 calibers allowed. (it's an ammo thing)
    .223/5.56, 9mm, .22, and 12ga are what I collect.

So... a 9mm AR could fit into my plan, but I understand that they can be problematic if not built correctly.

So who builds a reliable 9mm rifle that is drop dead reliable (besides Uzi)?
Looking for an AR type (no pistons), and it could even be an SBR.

I have gone back and forth and finally dropped the idea, but if you do go forth consider the ones that take Glock mags they are fairly reasonable right now and you can swap the 33rdrs in your favorite combat tupperware.

Mega, only 4 calibers??? Wow. No .357 magnum for game? You can get both a lever rifle and a revolver. Or get a .44 magnum, revolver and lever gun again. No .30 centerfire rounds? Hmm.. so few.

WTB seperate thread detailing your rationale :) At least toss a MN and some x54r into your collection...never know when you'll need to kill something bigger than a small deer ;) (just noticed the 12ga) beyond 80 yards.

I don't hunt anymore. I only kill paper targets and sporting clays these days. :)
If you knew how many rounds of those 4 calibers I own... you would understand. ;)

Just thinking that a pistol caliber AR would be a cool addition.

My Rock River AR-9mm is quickly becoming my fav gun overall. Its super reliable eats up ammo in a hurry (when i want it to).

there are four of them in regular use in our ipsc club. if you load 9mm, they are a very cheap training tool and hellafun btw..

ps, its the glock mags that set them apart.

glock mags work. not so sure about sten mags and uzi mags... etc.

I am with you on the limit the caliber's game. But do plan on a .45ACP and a .357 and 7.62x54r that will put me at 7 one for each day.

+1 on on the PC9 my friend has one nice gun!
