FATS is ok but force on force with simunitions is much better training. FATS is mostly an eye opener shoot no shoot scenario and doesn't really do anything for tactics as your just standing in front of a screen waiting for something to happen.
Sometimes Ill carry an extra mag in a cargo pocket on my shorts during the summer, and find it to be uncomfortable, and awkward feeling to have a lot of wight at the bottom of a pair of shorts. I couldn't imagine trying to stuff a gun in one of those pockets and walk around all day. IWB is much...
G17. Wish i was allowed to carry mine at work over my issued G22.
I own several Sig's and an XDM but my 17 is my favorite handgun to shoot (outside of my vaquero but that's not practical).
I've been IWB carrying my agency issued G22 for the past year (crossbread supertuck). I got a G27 for Christmas and look forwards to carrying that after the first of the year when I qual with it.
The width isn't a concern for me I had to buy 34" waist pants instead of my normal 33". The...
I know as of earlier in the year AA co was the only county that allowed taser carry. That could have changed by now. I'd just get her the OC spray for now but make sure she knows if someone's determined they can fight through the spray.
A taser like the x-26 works great if you get good...
Yeah I wear mine daily and sounds exactly like you're wearing a diaper, but only ~50% of the time I'm wearing it, I don't get it.
Other than that I'm very happy with it, once it breaks in it's pretty comfortable.
I'm an LEO I find SB281 to be completely ridiculous, it will do nothing to stop gun crime as many others have already stated. Most firearms found in the hands of criminals are stolen or obtained through straw purchases. It's basically a feel good law for legislators so they can say see, look, we...
From what I'm reading I don't need one as active LEO, but I cannot find what documentation I would need to bring in. I'm guessing MPTC card and agency ID?
Tom Myers is a complete tool. Years ago he shows up to one of my friends parties, walks in and eats an entire shrimp wheel by himself in such a manner that it reminded me of a scene from Gremlins, hits on a fat chick gets shot down an leaves.
I don't own a 2022 but I own a 226 and it's nice but I prefer my my Glock 17 over it. My 17 is my 2nd favorite handgun to shoot behind my vaquero. Its accurate, reliable, and there's a ton of sight options available for it if you do want night sights.
Prices are a bit crazy right now on everything firearms related. You might be able to find a used Ruger sp101 in that price range and you definitely cannot go wrong with that. A G19 is a good choice as well for a semi-auto, it's what I taught my fiance on.
