1. Assault Weapons Ban Update: SB516
You have been doing a great job of addressing SB516, The Assault Weapons Ban of 2010, as we discussed in the last Update. We are making great progress and the members of the Judicial Proceedings Committee are feeling your pressure, which we must keep up. Make use of the snowy weekend to send another batch of emails. Make plans for another round of phone calls come Monday morning. We need to make the introduction of these bills so expensive for them in terms of time and effort that they realize that "the juice isn't worth the squeeze".
Once you have already sent your letters and emails this weekend using the Activist's Tools , spend the beginning of the week continuing to call the members of the committee below.
