Put together my ADCOR lower using an Ace skeleton stock (non adjustable) and am intending to build an upper to use as a competition rifle (3gun, etc).
Would like it to be lightweight with a full length handguard. I was planning on running a JP Rifles comp just wondering what options I have...
Looking for a range that has some falling steel or similar where I can draw from a holster.
I'm tired of punching paper with a 2 second delay between shots at the major indoor ranges. I live in Reisterstown but willing to travel for the right range.
Willing to become a member and pass...
I know the light contour barrels are no longer allowed in our lovely state.

Is there any way to buy/build an AK SBR here in MD?
Im kicking myself for not buying a rifle before the ban and I'm curious if theres any way I can either buy a factory AK SBR or build one out of a pistol?
Any help would be appreciated.
I submitted my Form 1 via the eforms page two weeks ago. The rifle was bought 4 years ago and its worn a 14.5" M4gery upper since three years ago. Now that i'll be chopping it down (when legal to do so) am I required to get a heavy barrel for it? Or can I keep the Gov't contoured barrel thats...
Whos got the best customer service and pricing here in our wonderful state?
I'd rather deal with a local company that knows their stuff than buying online and dealing with that.
What do you guys recommend?
Looking for someone local thats willing to meet at a range and let me run a couple mags through their Kriss SBR. I can supply the ammo (factory ammo) or reimburse you for it.
Debating my first SBR purchase and its between the Kriss and a AR type SBR.
You can PM me and we can go from...
Doing paperwork on it today. 6" Blued Model from 1976-77. I'll be ordering the Archived Certificate from Colt as soon as I get it home.
May be swapping on a white outline rear sight and getting rid of the scope/mount. Finish looks excellent, hopefully the scope mount didnt scuff too much...
Will be setting up my trust soon and I am itching to get my hands on an SBR.
Figured since I can buy a factory Colt, why not...
Whats everyone's experience with this one? I'll be building a MK18 upper for it eventually but figure this would give me a great base.
Opinions?
I always wanted a 92 ever since I saw the movie "Stop or my mom will shoot"...
A couple years back I got a smoking deal on a Novaks 92FS... I started hanging out over on the Beretta forum and before I knew it, I bought a 92FS compact Type M. Its a neat single stack 92 that is just as smooth...

Im looking to collect all of the parts for my MEUSOC 1911A1 build and I need a USGI frame. Im looking for one that has the "United States Property.... M 1911 A1 US Army" markings on the right side of the frame. This frame will be mated to a Springfield Mil-Spec slide.
Anyone that has a...
I bought this a while back from Gunbroker and haven't shot it yet.
Im considering two different directions for this project.
1. Use 92D Centurion slide and convert to DAO
2. Use original 92FS slide, get single sided (low profile) safety installed and use a DA/SA "D" hammer...
Im not interested in buying one... but i was surprised to see that it wasnt allowed for sale. Wheres the logic since the 5" gun is on the roster as well as other series 80 4" pistols... :sad20:
Im considering purchasing a Kriss SDP pistol as i've always been intrigued by the design. Ultimately I want to convert it to SBR but I figure this would be the easiest way to see if I like it enough to go through with it before going through the NFA hassle.
Has anyone shot one of these...
I know to stay away from the aluminum receiver guns (integrated top rail).
I am looking at a SAR8 Sporter model. It does not have the original Thumbhole stock. It comes with 5 20 round magazines.
