Beginning to thin out my collection of parts - just posted four M1 Garand stock sets in classified.

1943 Mosin-Nagant 91/30
1942 SVT-40
1944 M44
1941 Nagant M1895
1941 Tokarev TT-33
Updated group pic - had to wait on the M44 sling and SVT Mag pouch to come in from the Ukraine to get an updated group pic with the M44 in it.
Going to be a monumental PIA moving all...
Had to wait on the sling to come in from Liberty Tree and the ammo pouch from eBay before I could get a picture. Best I can determine they are correct to the time period. Nothing special but I didn’t have one - that is reason enough isn’t it?
When the SVT ammo pouch comes in from the Ukraine...
Looking to add an early Vietnam, standard issue, M16A1 clone to my MilSurp collection and I’m looking for recommendations on who makes a decent clone that is Maryland legal.
Zero interest in putting one together myself - looking for an off the shelf clone.
Thanks in advance.

Yep, the SVT bayonet is a repo. It came with the rifle. Looking for a real one and authentic ammo pouch now.
I appreciate all the insight and advice regarding the SVT-40.
Just as a heads up, there is a knife sharpening guy that is at the Huntingtown TSC every other Sunday. Next date is 29 Oct. He does an exceptional job at a very fair price. I have no ties with the business, just a very satisfied customer that’s glad he is available to us locally.
Looking at an arsenal refurbished Tula 1942 SVT-40.
I have done a lot of reading but have only become more confused on a couple things.
1. It is a post-war arsenal overhaul yet it has the earlier 6 slot muzzle brake . According my research, Factory No.314 (Tula) started production of 2-port...
The Eastern Front, 1943.
The 1944 Russian holster for the TT-33 finally came in from the Ukraine so I dug out the Eastern Front guys for a group photo.
Still looking for the right SVT-40, PPK and P.08. Those will have to wait until next fishing season.
All firearms pictured are 1941-1943...
Been looking for awhile and finally came across one that checked most of the boxes.
1. I wanted a 1939-1944, ideally a 1941, the year the Germans invaded Russia in Operation Barbarossa. This one is a 1941 Tula model.
2. Not refinished - this one is not. Not much of the finish is left but it has...
I finally got around to taking the butt plate off my 1943 K-31. Is this what they mean when folks talk about “troop tags”?
Two separate pieces of writing under there. One appears to be on almost regular paper and the other is a little heavier material. Both handwritten. I didn’t mess with them...
Yesterday I posted a pic of my WWII handgun collection and mentioned I was in the market for a few I was missing, specifically a French MAB-D.
After a little advice and encouragement from so_mustangs, I decided to make an offer on a MAB-D rig I had been watching.
It's about an 80% condition...
Been awhile since I had all the WWII Vets out together. From top center, clockwise: US 1943 Ithaca 1911A1, German 1943 Mauser P.38, German 1942 Walther PP, Italian 1940 Beretta M1934, Russian 1941 Tula M1895, British 1940 Enfield No 2 Mk1*, US 1918 Colt M1917, US 1942 S&W U.S. Navy Victory. In...
Back in January I dropped off a Feb 1943 CMP Rack Special at Fulton Armory for a complete overhaul.
This afternoon they called and said it was done....I plan to pick it up Monday - pics to follow.
Here is a screen cap of what they did.
Two years ago, I had them build me a Winchester M1...
Both Pre-Capitulation
Top one is a early June 1940, all matching but bayonet is unserialized.
Bottom one is a December 1939 with mismatched bolt but rifle and bolt are both “H” series.
Of all the MilSurp rifles, the French MAS is one of my favorites.
I have no idea why. It's ugly and has that...
I have a Dec 1939 MAS-36 (H-block serial number) but the stock is missing the month/year cartouche although the stock serial number matches but the bolt is also mis-matched .
I wasn't really looking for a more "correct" one but I came across an all matching, June 1940 model - made right before...
Just the US side of things.
Top down:
1918 Eddystone Model of 1917
1922 Springfield Model of 1903
1943 Remington Model of 1903A3
1943 Springfield M1 Garand
1943 Inland M1 Carbine
1918 Colt Model of 1917
1942 S&W Victory Model
1943 Ithaca 1911A1
The M1 Carbine also served with the Bavarian...
Had no intention of buying another gun but then.....
I stumbled across this on a CMP Forum.
I made the fella an offer and I now it's headed my way from PA.
It's been re-arsenaled / parkerized and the stock has been sanded but it retains a faint re-arsenal cartouche and it's original October...
There has been an exceptional Colt Model 1917 listed online for quite awhile that I thought was way overpriced.
It has been listed and re-listed over and over for months without a price reduction.
Last night I went fishing and made the guy an offer more inline with what I thought was reality...
Got back from Florida later than expected but finally got to go pick up my K31 and thought I’d share some pics.
Based on the serial number it was manufactured at W-F in 1943. All numbers matching with an excellent bore.
It came with brass muzzle cap, sling, bayonet and the scabbard. The...
