I have never had a problem and don't mind them checking weapons for safety or ammo. I have recently noticed they ask "what caliber are you shooting" (after which they right it down) so perhaps they have started trying to keep track for wear and tear on the boollitt catchers? Generally nice people. I even had one sales person insist I pay far less than the going price for the ammo I was buying! I like them and they are close.
