      keltec ksg value

Funny. I had never heard of this thing until a buddy mentioned it about an hour ago. Apparently so hard to find they are almost urban legend like. Always someone someone knows got one, but you never meet the source. Good looking and very cool though. Sent from my Lumia 900 using Board Express

buying Long Guns out of state.

When I still lived in MD, I bought a Colt HBAR in Arizona after having the gun shop call multiple gun shops in MD to confirm. WalMart's in Arizona have big graphics behind the gun counter listing what can be sold to people from each state. Arizona law is anything legal in your state is legal for...

      They took all my s***!

My understanding from various sources, including that PDF, is that non residents are limited (just as non permit holders) from carrying concealed in restricted places. Restaurants that serve liquor. But I have been and continue to be wrong about many things. One thing I am sure of, it is...

      They took all my s***!

My understanding is that our Constitutional Carry Law is good for anyone regardless of residence. (Of course as a resident and permit holder, I can afford to be wrong) Sent from my Lumia 900 using Board Express

My letter to the editor made it into two newspapers!

Well stated. Sent from my Lumia 900 using Board Express

Would this do well in my Garand?

I shoot commercial 30.06 without concern. The guy that wrote "The Complete Guide" to the M1 did a very comprehensive test on surplus vs commercial and found that an op rod that is greased as opposed to oiled renders the issue moot. Never had an issue with 150 grain Remington. Of course the...

      Beretta 92FS or Glock 17?

I concealed carry a 92 everyday. I keep one in the chamber and the decocker off. Great to shoot easy to carry. Love it.

      Steel cased ammo

They run fine through my rifles. But needless to say, I prefer to run brass.

      Ar15 bolt catch problem

Well, just to be an ass (since no one else has) Should bought a Colt. :)

Don't go to the range without...

The whole "I have mags for this", "i have this gun for that" thing is beyond my comprehension. Guns are tools. Use them and abuse them. And yes I have ball peens and claws, flat and Phillips. I get that different jobs take different tools, but none of my tools live in fear of nicks and scratches.

WTB: A good entry level AR-15

Just buy a Colt and be done with it. It really isn't that much more and you'll never be sorry.

How concealed is CCW in MD ?

Arizona being an open carry state where it is widely acknowledged and accepted, I am fairly casual in my concealed carrying, but in a state where open carry is a "no no" I would guess concealed means "no one should know". (Michigan here too: 11 & Mound. 313 back in the day)

Gerber Bear Grylls Ultimate Knife "Survival Series"

I have a Bear Grylls, bought it at Wally's last summer before a cross country camping trip. I was mostly happy with it. I used it to cut fire wood and also, along with a hammer, to split wood. I also used the fire starter, it worked fine. Over all though, it seemed like a "lets play...

Attn FL and VA Permit Holders... NM drops reciprocity with FL and VA

We do have a live fire test here in AZ to qualify for a permit. However Arizona is also a constitutional carry state so you can carry with or without a permit.

      Left handed AR

That's why ARs have the deflector behind the ejuction port. The only rifle I have that spooks me left handed is my M1, that op rod zipping back and forth on the same side as my face is always in my mind.

      Left handed AR

I am a lefty and always have been. I've never had a single issue with a standard AR. Even the charging handle is fine. In many many rounds of shooting I have had one, ONE, casing bounce of of me. Never noticed the "gases". Lefties adapt. IMHO a left handed build is a waste on money.
