Did you notice if there were any stipulations on buying the powder at this table? There is one vendor there, at least at one time, that had a policy that you had to buy the same other merchandise that came to the same price of the powder you wanted to buy before you could buy powder.
Not sure if I will be able to go. I spent my spare money for the month at Precision Firearms' booth at the Howard County Gun Show this past weekend. I would consider going for the reloading powder, but the last time I went if you wanted any you had to buy the same price amount of other...
Sometime last year or so about the same time that The Machinegun Nest started coming together, there was another shooting range that was also trying to get started in the Frederick area called Frederick Shooting Center. I have heard of several updates from The Machinegun Next, but nothing for...
I really wish I could have gone yesterday. I went first thing this morning. I really like this one better than the Frederick gun show. I could actually move around, and it did not have quite the amount of junk that you ask why is this at a gun show. Picked up some rifle powder though I...
I used to do Cowboy action shooting blackpowder cap and ball revolver and cartridge. Got out of it as I did not have much time. That was several years ago. I am curious in knowning how has the powder shortage affected Cowboy Action because I know I went through a lot of black powder shooting...
HBAR is defined by sane people, not necessarily MSP, as .750 in diameter. I think most 50 Beowulf barrels meet that measurement just because of the caliber from what I remember reading on Alexander Arms website some time back. Again there is a bit of back and forth whether it needs to be HBAR...
Finally finished this today. The receiver is a Stealth Arms 80% that I bought and finished last summer. The upper is a CMMG 22" 223 bull barrel with Nikon P-223 scope and mount that I bought in October. Buttstock is a MagPul PRS. Finally purchased the lower parts kit with a Geissele SSA-E...
I bought my first AR-15 back in 2007, a Rock River HBAR. I had no desire to purchase another AR-15. Thanks to the current administration, I bought several hunks of aluminum and learned how to drill metal on a drill press. I did several receivers before the deadline. I am slowly buying the...
I took my dremel with a grinding wheel to the flat of the selector switch and that fixed the problem. :)
I have since found out that quite a few people have this problem with a standard selector switch and have to file it.
I finally got a parts kit for an 80% receiver I had finished well before the Oct. date. The lower parts kit is the Geissele SSA-E LPK from PSA. Buy a Geissele SSA-E trigger, get the rest of the lower parts for free basically. First off, the FCP has been milled out to proper depth of 1.249"...
All I know is that they have flown over my house several times. In fact have even hovered a bit and kind of circled around staying close to my house. :tinfoil:
Or I wonder if its because I don't live that far from the Harry Grove stadium. :)
How is my asking about 80% receivers beating a dead horse? Is there or is there not a vendor that sells them at this show? Simple yes or no question. It is a hunk of metal. Nothing illegal about buying a hunk of metal.
Some dealer wanted $35 for 100 rounds Remington Subsonic 22. I bought 100 rounds(2 50 round boxes) at Bass Pro when passing through Richmond for about $7.00.
