Perplexing baffle strike issue
On the guns without baffle strikes, put a piece of tape on the end, take a shot, smooth the tape back out and see if the bullet is leaving the endcap centered or is off center in the hole. Legality question?
You anneal the case neck and shoulder. (look at the discoloration on any lake city or other military surplus brass, thats what thats from) If you anneal the case head, then that is softened and weakened, and you could get anything from case head separation, to it flowing back into the bolt... -

I'd try the loctite, cheap, only takes 24-48 hours to cure, and a few rounds to test it out. Blue/medium or low strength so its removable of course. If it doesnt work, then try out other more expensive options. -

I prefer going from .223 rather then .221, lot less of a chance of a non-concentric neck, or neck splitting. But trimming all that length is a pain. I'm considering a dillon electric trimmer, so it'll be just running .223 cases up in the die and .300 whisper coming out with no splits. Plus... -

how long is that blank? only need 16.1 for the title one upper, and 7-10" makes a fine SBR upper length. Same performance as a 16" barrel since your limited on your velocity, and stiffer barrel compared to the long one, so accuracy has the potential to be better. -
