Mine seamed to have a failure to feed every third to fifth round when I first got them but after much frustration and patience they work perfectly now. I’m not sure what’s there to “break in” but I’m guessing that’s what was needed.

A friend of mine bought a Savage model 99 takedown, on closer inspection he noticed the barrel had a bulge in it.
Anyone local (hour or two drive) that you all would recommend to re-barrel it?
Possibly caliber change?

Are you including the red tip in your OAL?
