What do the hash marks denote? Confirmed brass kills?

Here’s my new “temporary” bench, I put together over the weekend. . I had been using my rod building bench (fishing rods) for reloading, but it was way too flimsy and my powder drops were all over the place.
This little corner of the basement will be remodeled in the fall. When that happens, this bench will go to my little building and the press will be replaced with a vice, bench grinder and misc tools.
The bench itself was a simple build on the cheap, but I wanted it strong because I plan to abuse it once it goes to my shop.
I shaved about a ½” off eleven 8-foot 2x4s and screwed them together with 3” deck screws with construction adhesive between each stud – leaving six voids for the legs.
Once the legs were inserted and flush with the top, I ran a pair of 2X4s flush with the bottom of the top and used 3/8” carriage bolts too secure them. The ends are secured with 3” lag screws. The bottom supports are essentially the same as that under the top. Finally, I attached the bench to the wall.
It’s bomb proof and the top can be removed by loosening the bolts and driving the legs out with a scrap piece of 2x4.
I’m pretty happy with it. My permanent bench will be similar, but made out of better wood.
I’m inherently sloppy, so all of my components are kept on the opposite wall. That forces me to put things back. Otherwise, I end up with piles of stuff on the bench.
So how sloppy is the opposite wall?
Just got this yesterday. It's a condiment counter from a CFA. I'm going to cover the trash can tops with 1/2 inch plywood and mount the presses to them, progressive on left, single stage on right. The middle will be nice to keep track of my mess that usually accumulates on my bench. I'll post pics when it's done. Hoping to get started on it this weekend.
I need a bigger garage
