I don't think he's going to make it to march. look for him to resign asap.
Yeah what's going on with him? Anyone got an idea? I thought he was already supposed to have resigned by now?

Why.....because I'm not afraid to express my opinion over behavior that I sincerely believe will eventually be detrimental to me.....instead of hurling insults some of the 13er's here should learn to make better arguments for their case.....if one can't make them here, how heck will they ever make them in Annapolis.....
If he has his wishes his retirement party will be on a third Thursday of the month at approximately 6pm.

Ok, make you point as to how people spending their time in Annapolis and Reisterstown is detrimental to you. Make your argument.
To date, you have not offered an alternative to the effective approach of the community here as a whole. Offer up your ironclad plan and maybe your comments wouldn't seem so asinine.
I though I had done him in.
"Oh, sh*t! This little f'er who has been attending and documenting all of our meetings is not up for an appeal. I'm coming to join you, 'lizabeth."
Seriously, I don't wish ill on anyone. It was just slightly comical at the timing.
I must be, I was chastised upon late arrival , "I've told you guys you can't come in late". First time I was ever there.
How might this process be different in 3 To 5 years when I get a chance to appeal? It's a little dissuading but I honestly want to stay positive.

I just noticed your note about the DC Corrections employee with the conviction in DC for unlawfully carrying a firearm. There is case law on this. He should not have been convicted. Corrections Officers have always been able to carry in DC even off duty. This happened to another DC Corrections Officer and he won on appeal at the federal level. No permit required. I will look for the case next time I am in front of the computer. This person should file to have his conviction overturned. Here are the notes I took this evening except for my time having the playful banter with Knaub.
Meeting is beginning without the newest member at 6:16pm.
I was advised I would have from 7:00pm-7:30pm for my hearing.
438-83826A : Mar 3, 2015 Permit reason for work as private detective. Permit issued, from residence during activities as P.I. Applicant asking for restriction to be removed. Applicant says he is on call and at danger. Prior employee of DC dept of corrections. MSP states being on call is not “G&S” for unrestricted permit. Employment with DC dept of corrections ceased in 2001 and applicant waited more than 10 years to apply for a permit. Applicant stated that several times he has been threatened with words of “this is not over”, “I will see you again”.
Jurgena motions to remove remove restrictions. Wilson and White agree, Thomas opposes.
438-86229 : Reason for permit, owns rental property and collects cash. Applicant was convicted in DC of unlawfully carrying a firearm. Applicant is prohibited in MD from owning or carrying a firearm. MSP states that the applicant is a prohibited person and is not eligible to own, wear or carry a firearm. MSP DID give the applicant to explain the conviction and applicant wrote a letter about “crime” that occurred in 1996. Case was reduced from a felony to misdemeanor. Applicant was employed in DC in corrections(fugitive transport) and got pulled over on his way home from work and had his unloaded service weapon locked and under a seat. Applicant is a designated collector in MD.
Wilson motions to sustain MSP decision. Jurgena agrees as well as Patricia West.
438-87344 :The Montoya Case(ha ha ha) I responded to the MSP’s argument and was offered the opportunity to have a continuance of my case. My hearing is being held over until November 17 to allow my witness to attend.
Board recessed for administrative reasons @ 7:50pm.
Discussed multiple documents in a applicants file and MSP verified documents were duplicates.
Board opened session at 8:55pm.
438-81944 : Reason for permit is banking purposes as self-employed psychotherapist. Disgruntled client’s spouses. Appliance was denied and conducted an informal review. Has been confronted by angry abusers of patients, but cannot file police reports because police reports would escalate the violence of the patients and abusers. Applicant’s current permit is for financial transactions and is looking to have restriction removed.
Jurgena motions to issue unrestricted permit. Wilson seconds, all board members agree.
Wilson suggests to address admin issues, Thomas would like to address at another meeting.
Meeting adjourned.
Is there a post in here somewhere about what happened with the chairman and you giving him a heart attack? I don't think I caught the original post.I did too, but none of the board members moved a muscle.
Sounds like your skin is not as thick as you claim.
Nowhere have I ever said that folks attending 2a Tuesday are wasting their time. Quite the opposite, I believe that is an important part of the process towards making Maryland a true shall issue state.....our legislators, by their actions, are the ones letting us know we are wasting our time.........
I do believe that intimidating the HPRB by a a few Marylander's is going to eventually come back to bite ALL Maryland gun owners in the butt. Probably before Hogan's 1 term is up...the apply/deny/appeal method of securing a CCW will most certainly be short lived and I think the next administration will make it a point to make sure permits issued under that scenario do not get renewed.......
and I have no problem saying that to your face........
That was indeed remarkable. I commented to spectator next to me, "I think M...... just gave him a heart attack"
I read he's been there three years? He should have the protocol down by now. He was constantly coached by an attorney how to run the meeting, after three years? Perhaps this just confirms before Hogan's new appointments it was a rubber stamp board for MSP.
Really now.. how can that be
