Sorry, I'm way behind trying to catch up:

    2A Tuesday? What and Where?
    HPRB?

I second that. Trying to get active in the gun rights scene. Googled to no avail as to future pro gun events and such. Anyone know of any?

Here's the thread from last year http://www.mdshooters.com/showthread.php?t=167477&highlight=Tuesday
Everyone gets together on Lawyer's Mall in Annapolis for a rally then goes and pays a visit to their representatives.

Funny, I didn't see you there. You have a very unhealthy obsession with making worthless comments about a subject you have admitted you have zero interest in.

I have a very thick skin, but keep in mind there are others who are less experienced and very "green" to this whole process and to gun rights in Maryland. You participation and the manner in which you participate is doing ZERO to support the 2A community and if you claim to attend "2A Tuesday" in Annapolis, I want you to tell the supporters to their face that they are wasting their time. Let's see how that goes for you.

I think the fact that .37% of the state's population has "permission" to exercise a right pretty much makes it a waste of time...and I would have no problem saying that to your face...what are you going to do? Beat me up for voicing my opinion based on facts?

The Chair just looks done with this.

His sudden shortness of breath and long pause midway through the meeting was very concerning to me. I honestly hope he's alright.

I didn't want that on my shoulders, him dying in the middle of my case!

Admittedly the HPRB activity is fine tuning a minor cog that in the big picture shouldn't exist. BUT :

    1. Even small absolute numbers of people benefiting is a big percentage gain ( let's try to get that 0.37 % up to .50 % for at start ). Any gain is better than no gain.

    2. During the legislative off season, in off election year it's HPRB and general public outreach .

The Lone Nabob probably trolls Cerebral Palsy forums telling all who would listen that they are wasting their time raising money, there will never be a cure.....

Bingo. If we increase the % from.37 to .50, that's a 35% increase. Any business would love to see an increase in "subscribers, users or customers" of that amount.

I'll keep plugging away and the others too short minded can keep hatin'. That seems to be what they do best.

    .
People here are putting in some time for this and whether you agree or not is irrelevant. I burned a half day of leave to go see what's the big deal and I see the potential even if it's small scale. After you come to a meeting then you can complain.

Maybe, maybe not. But bad form by the Nabob in either case....

I agree with him, although I don't think it needs to be constantly rubbed in people's faces...It's fantasy to think that any significant changes will be made with the current legislative make up with a very anti gun AG. There is little chance of another court challenge, The NRA has thrown in the towel and even our current "supposed" pro gun governor won't do what he can to further our cause...There aren't enough old school democrats left in the state to remove the antis in Annapolis....in short, it's a pipe dream to think we will have real change...Nope, I don't have any ideas that people here are interested in listening to...I will say this...

Liberals use emotions to get their agenda furthered whereas thinking people like most pro 2A folks use common sense...Liberals respond to feelings like guilt and shame....a good public shaming would get much better results than quoting stats, holding rallies or writing letters....Lease billboards all through the state depicting anti 2A reps and senators as standing in the way of self defense next election season (2018)....it certainly can't hurt...

That was indeed remarkable. I commented to spectator next to me, "I think M...... just gave him a heart attack"

I read he's been there three years? He should have the protocol down by now. He was constantly coached by an attorney how to run the meeting, after three years? Perhaps this just confirms before Hogan's new appointments it was a rubber stamp board for MSP.

Are you in 5th grade? You act like a child.

Why.....because I'm not afraid to express my opinion over behavior that I sincerely believe will eventually be detrimental to me.....instead of hurling insults some of the 13er's here should learn to make better arguments for their case.....if one can't make them here, how heck will they ever make them in Annapolis.....
