Anyone here into making your own accessories? Slings, pouches, stuff of that nature? I just made myself a pretty nice single point sling and have been thinking about a few other things I could make.
Just wanted to see if anyone else does this or is interested in hobbies like this.
For my...
I just came across this yesterday (Rainier Arms had mentioned it on their Facebook) and was wondering if anyone had any hands on experience with any of their scopes? I know the red dots are notoriously cheap (cost wise, have never really looked into quality), but this seems to be a viable option...
Wasn't really sure of any other place to put this thread, so I'll leave it here to ask you guys of your opinions.
Recently bought the new Rainier RAC muzzle brake. It is only available through their "revolvr" app on android devices only (dumb, I know) and it arrived today.
Upon opening the...
What do you guys think of the new soon to be released Rainier Arms products? I saw this rail and brake and they caught my eye immediately for my current SPR project. The rail appears to be light due to all that material being cut out. Seems to look like they contracted Seekins to make the rails...
It's a shame they only allow us to shoot bucks, but what have you guys got so far?
I bagged this guy at 0715 this morning. Would've been a solid 8 but one side was broke off. Dressed out he went about 120-130. For a 200 acre piece of state land in washington county, I'm not complaining at all...
As I was walking out of the woods I ran into a guy and his two children who were also hunting. He had a savage 110 chambered in 7mm. As we get back to our vehicles I'm crouched over loading my rifle up the next vehicle over. Next thing I know *BOOOM!*
Negligent discharge while loading his...

First day of rifle, how did everyone do. I'm hunting just inside of region 1 so it's buck only for me. 6 deer ran by about 15 minutes before legal shooting time and couldn't tell if they were buck or doe. 2 doe shortly after sunrise and no action after that. May have had something to do with the...
Just ran across this (taken from ar15news) and think these look pretty sweet. He brings up a good point, the small one looks like a pretty sweet hand stop. What do you guys think?
So upon months and months of waiting for a white oak SPR barrel, and adco not accepting my discover card on the white oaks they finally got in stock, I decided to say screw it and went with a black hole weaponry upon the recommendation of the guys over at ar15news.com
What I got when I added...

I need input from you SPR owners as to what optics to look into. I've all but decided that it will be a vortex viper PST scope. Now what magnification do I want? Will 2.5-10x get me out to 600 or should I jump to the 4-16x? Also any other recommendations on scopes in the same 600-700 price...
At least 40 boxes of 150ct 855 at Walmart in Hagerstown. $69 box.
Also plenty of federal 9mm and .45 100rd boxes. $25 for 9mm, didn't get the price on .45
I haven't shot compound bows or archery for that matter since I was very young, 8 years old maybe. Recently found an urge to get into it. I'm looking for a decent, moderately priced bow to get started with. I don't need anything like a carbon element. Something around 400-500 dollars just to...
If you were in the market for a complete ar15, what would you be looking at? I have a buddy in PA looking to buy one, so it doesn't have to be HBAR. He's looking at 2 bushmasters now, but I know there are better options out there. As all of my rifles have been custom assembled for my needs I...
I recently decided that with my last pre-ban lower I'll be building a SPR. I'm going with a fixed stock on this, and I have everything to complete the lower besides the stock itself.
The two I have my eyes on are the magpul UBR and PRS. What do you guys with these stocks think about them? Good...
Posted this in the rifle forum but in case you guys didn't see it...
Unless I've just never seen it on their site for this price, palmetto has a sweet deal on their classic LPK with the geissele ssa-e trigger. The trigger alone retails for $230. Thought I'd let you guys know...
