Sophocleus usually steps up, but I wish he would sign on as a sponsor.

    #2......

Thank you for contacting my office regarding the "shall-issue" legislation. Should the legislation be reported out of the Judiciary Committee, I will support it on the House Floor.

    Best regards,

Why not sponsor it if you're going to support it?

    My opinion, FWIW:

Flying beneath the radar. If it never comes up for a vote, he never has to go on record of supporting it and he doesn't take the heat. If it comes up for a vote, it goes through quickly and then it's too late for anyone to do anything about it.

Makes perfect sense from a politician's point of view, but it's a lame ass stance to take IMO. Going on the record to support something like this isn't (I mean, shouldn't be) controversial.

If that was the case we (Maryland) wouldn't be in this situation in the first place. :sad20:

My fully automatic, electron operated, belt fed email launcher has been going all week. Had to call in a stamp re-supply mission as well (my mail lady is now picking up more than she leaved in my mailbox). I made a spreadsheet to track my send-to's, subject bill# and whether they were (1) read (2) deleted w/ being read (3) mail box full (4) replied to. Once I get some more data I'll publish this weekend.
