money laundering?
Are you saying I paid too much?
money laundering?
All the Yugo M/59 SKS rifles I remember seeing had a blued/dark bayonet not a shiny one like that.
My friend got one two days ago from Dan's and his bayonet is blued, more like a grey color, but not shiny.
I'm sending mine back. I'm just not going to ever be happy with it, and there are other things I'd rather put $425 toward. He's since updated his website to remove the word "original" from the description. I just can't stand the huge gold EP on every replacement part. Oh well . . . that's how it works sometimes.
Got this Mauser about a week ago from Lou45,
Peruvian model 1935
I've fondled that Peruvian a time or two the last few times I went to Lou's.
Lovely looking rifle, too bad South American stuff just isn't my style.

I got me another nice M39. This time, an uncommon 1945 Sako that was badly labeled. Picked it up for $399.
more like oldgunjunkie this one is more unique looking than your others very coolPicked this Hakim up online the other day from Gunboards, Just got it today, has a very nice bore and the wood is in great shape for a Hakim.
Me too and I needed penicillin afterwards.
Got my International Harvester Garand from the CMP. Overall, I am kind of happy with it. The bore is fantastic, with a muzzle reading of 1+ and a throat reading of 3. Both are not bad for a field grade. The barrel is LMR, and by the date, it appears original. I did a quick tear down, and the receiver, bolt and windage knob is IHC. The op rod is SA and the Trigger group has a WRA mark on it. Once I have time, I will do a complete takedown.
The negatives, there was a little surface rust at the rear of the receiver. It cleaned off easy with WD40 and 0000 steel wool. I need to take the handguards off though to inspect the barrel. There was some surface rust under the stock, and I hope I dont find bad rust when I take the handguards off. The stock is pretty beat up. The rear handguard has a small crack, and there are a lot of dings and dents. There is an AA mark, so obviously Augusta Armory worked on it at some time in its life. There is also an armory mark (16) painted on the side of the butt stock, but as you can see, it looks pretty bad and there is a big run. There is also yellow/orange paint at the base of the grip.
Here are some pictures. I cant tell who made the stock, but I dont think it is IHC.
