Gauging Interest In New Product

Well......I didn't have plans to build a 9mm AR. I guess now I do!

That looks really nice. I would have jumped all over this a year ago to make a 5.5" SBR. Sadly, that train left the station. BUT, I have been kicking around the idea of an integral 9mm upper as my first Form 1 suppressor. Maybe this is the platform I needed to kick my butt into gear on that.

One question: How does your billet upper work with 9mm? I don't know that much about 9mm ARs, but they usually have that plastic deflector and half ejection port. Will that setup fit on your billet upper? Is it needed? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

That would be great. I have a 5.5" 9mm SBR. It's my favorite gun to shoot. An integral upper would kick ass.

this is more for aesthetics and not necessary for function.

Andy, you should go for it. I have a DDLES on a 9mm glock pattern. Like you said, I needed to send the bolt out for ramping for the glock magazine. The beauty of the design is its very simple. Direct blow back. No gas system. Running a very heavy buffer and Wolf spring. Works flawless. The lower's weak spot is the bolt catch. I favor the colt pattern for bolt availability and ease with the bolt catch design. Go for it. I think you will have customers.
