hey guys I just had a quick question about my g27 I just bought. The gun has been working great, but I noticed when the slide is locked back and you look at the recoil guide from the muzzle end. It appears to be crooked. Meaning it is leaning towards one side. I was curious if this is normal or...
Hey guys,
I just inherited my grandfathers smith model 37 airweight. He carried it everyday in his right front pocket of his suit, as he was a deputy inspector. The gun was purchased 1953 and has the flat latch. The gun has pocket wear, but the gun functions well and has tight lock up still...
thanks for your help. You were 100% right, there is a noticeable bur on the BCG that is causing the damage. I emailed CMMG asking for a new bolt carrier group and buffer spring. I will see if they follow through.
ok thanks for posting that picture. I will take my bcg out when i get home and see if I can find any burs with my finger. Im mostly pissed CMMG customer service said it was normal, probably my last CMMG product for awhile.
that would be great. I figured the short markings going around the circumference of the buffer tube are from the retaining pin. But I cant figure out what made the two larger marks.
so I just bought a CMMG MK3 308 about a week ago and put 30 rounds through it. This is what happened the buffer tube, so I contacted CMMG and they claim this is normal. In my mind this is absolutely not normal, and is garbage. What do you think?
Hey guys I just picked up this webley. I know absolutely nothing about it and was curious if you guys could help educate me. I picked it up for 300$, is that a reasonable price?
I certainly would appreciate any info on this gun
finally yes lol. It was the coating adding a little dimension to the barell, and no joke I think I pulled something in my back getting it off. I had to hold the shoulder stock with my feet and pull hard with my hands on the barell to get it off. Prolly looked a little weird
Hey guys,
Just bought a scattergun technologies 870 and cant get the damn barell off. I took of the magazine extender and removed the follower and spring. The spring almost took my eye out, but its removed non the less. I put the action all the way forward, half way, and all the way back and...
do they ship the specials out without any oil on the stock. It seems really dry to me, it appears just a stain was applied. Do you think it is fine the way it is, or a coat of tung oil would be beneficial. Also, do you know of any good places to get tung oil?
