hey guys I just had a quick question about my g27 I just bought. The gun has been working great, but I noticed when the slide is locked back and you look at the recoil guide from the muzzle end. It appears to be crooked. Meaning it is leaning towards one side. I was curious if this is normal or something I should call glock about. Thanks for the help :party29:

remove and inspect the recoil assembly for any cracks in the spring or retainers.
if everything looks fine and the assembly doesnt impede function, you should be good to go.

You able to post a pic?

I replaced mine with a stainless steel recoil assy...partly for the look and partly because mine caused the slide to hang up when the slide was locking up...it only did it when i would ride the slide closed manually, never had an issue firing...it was still bothersome though

I had the same problem with my 26. Drove me nuts as well but never had a problem. The past few times I put it back together it sems to have straightened out, since I put extra effort in making sure the end was sitting perfectly in that half moon cutout on the barrel.

My recoil assembly is evenly spaced between the frame. The gun has well over 1000 rounds through it and still functions fine. As stated above, inspect closely for damage.
