It’s been a while since I was on here, so forgive me if this isn’t allowed. I have a crate of 1985 Russian 7.62x54r, and would like to sell or trade for a long gun. Please check listing here, and again - apologies if this is verboten...
Looking to sell this Mosin and a can of ammo - https://www.mdshooters.com/showthread.php?p=1052850#post1052850
Asked $400 for both, thought that was plenty fair...but the buyer went lower.
I'm seeing nice, matching, Hex receivers over $300 on GB...Isn't my original asking price fair?
John Carduner works on revolvers, and I can vouch for his excellent work (although my issue was with a Walther). He goes by trikshot on MDS, and regularly stops in at Freestate.

Forgive the noob question...Can you bring C&R firearms TO a gunshow with the intention to sell/trade? I grew up going to shows in Florida, and this was A-OK - but I'm not sure how MD plays it. Has anyone sold/traded to a dealer at a MD show?
FYI - I'm interested in selling or trading my Walther...
I contacted John Carduner after getting into trouble by detail-stripping my girlfriend's favorite gun - a Manurhin (Walther-licensed) PP. I had a hard time getting all the tiny internal bits of the gun to fit together properly, and opted to have an expert correct my mistake.
John was that...
I kinda knew this was a bad idea from the start, but I found a great YouTube on detail-stripping my Walther PP and got started. Since I bought it, my gf has shot a sizable cross-section of dirty ammo through it while learning the ropes. Add to that however many years pre-me shooting, and it was...
I'd to sell my late 70s matching P1, and the follow up purchase - a mixmaster P38 (apparently) from the mid-60s...
What's a fair price for these guns with a local sale, in the new HQL environment?
P1 - http://www.mdshooters.com/showthread.php?t=52707&highlight=walther
P38 -...
I inherited one of those from my grandfather, and love it. Recoil isn't bad, it's easy to be dead-on accurate, and - I've heard - it can really sit a deer down fast.
Take down is a bit tricky, but only a hair worse than the SKS - IMHO.
Anyone buy one of these?

Looks sturdy, and in great condition - but I find the single-shot rifles to be tedious...Does anybody know if you can add a box magazine? Any other thoughts on these rifles?
Thanks
Pretty sure I saw this gun as part of an estate sale that someone brought to Gun Collection for appraisal...
I hope they gave the seller (a middle-aged woman with minimal gun knowledge) a decent deal, considering how much the seller is asking on GB!
For those who might be looking to "collect em all"...
Bulgarian Makarov 9x18. Grade 1, very good to excellent condition, showing only minor handling and holster wear, little firing if any. Cleaned and Inspected. With extra magazine and holster.

So, since its minimally valuable as a historic firearm, will the C&R gods hold it against me a tad less if I decide to drop it into one of these new Archangel stocks with removable 10-round magazine?

'Cuz I'm kinda tempted, even if it's...
