      Rifle marksmanship for our Soldiers?

I don't want to sound like a jerk... But ammo is expensive. It goes to the guys who actually need it (active duty, infantry, or those that use a rifle, not a pen or wrench in their MOS). And even us infantry guys don't spend all day shooting either. If your unit is involved in an actual...

Would this be legal in Montgomery County?

It's probably not the best idea to keep a firearm locked up in your car all day, either. Sure, lots of people do it and never have anything happen (theft), but there's always that chance that your car or just your gun will be stolen. And thats a pretty bad day.

      The 7 day wait begins

I need more ammo! A muzzleloader and 20 gauge H&R Ultra Slug Hunter are next on my list, no waiting required for those though.

      Rifle parascope

I saw that tpo. Pretty nifty, but yeah, it looks pretty unstable and inaccurate. I think the test they did was a shot at a bottle of orange soda at 50 yards or something. It was a hit, but I really wonder how well it shoots past that. It just looks like a very unstable platform to fire a rifle...

      Hickok45

He seems like one of the only "gun guys" on Youtube who actually shoots. There are a lot of gun channels on there but many of the hosts just seem to ramble on and on and don't even shoot their guns. It's nice to watch some videos where the host isn't dressed up in "tacticool" costume, too!

Roaming bears in suburbia not going away (MD)

Thats close to home! I think I may need to acquire a bow if I'm going to do some covert suburban bear hunting though. Kidding...poaching is morally and legally wrong.

What a classic beauty! I'm digging the T&E and tripod. Ever see the episode of Sons of Guns where they modify one of those for a police officer who wants to shoot it from the shoulder? They put a SAW buttstock on it, if I remember correctly...Please don't do that!

      Any idea about this?

Interesting. They may just be having technical difficulties with the software they use to access the DNR site or something like that though.

Roaming bears in suburbia not going away (MD)

A few years ago New Jersey tried to get a bear hunting season approved, they we're having quite a problem with bears in suburbia. There was some serious public outcry (PETA protests and whatnot) about getting a season approved, but they finally got one. I'm aware of MD bear hunting in...

Whats a good starter/first timer rifle?

Get that .22, and then get a nice centerfire rifle. There are LOTS to be had for under $800, for all different uses.

What do you need it for? Hunting? Defense? Plinking?
