liberals are too big of pussies to confiscate. They will outlaw them, and arrests will be made if one is found. No more gun ranges, no more shooting sports. You may be allowed a shotgun or single shot rifle to hunt.

IF this happens, lead will fly.

The answer is that they did not have the United States Constitution with its associated Bill of Rights.

As far as I can recall from my history classes (many years ago), people living in England were subjects and they exiled their convicts to Australia, then part of the Empire. :sad20:

Nope, not at all like us, Gov'na. Eh Wot? :D

    This.

It's already happened, and 0% took up arms and resisted - Hurricane Katrina.

My personal belief is people are 100% talk (including MYSELF.) When it comes down to it, no one has the balls to put everything, including their lives on the line like our fellow Maryland'ers did in 1814. Just look at how many people wouldn't even risk a day off work to come protest.

No they just won in court. And as a result laws were changed. Now if they did resist what laws would we face now?

There is only one reason for massive registration of an ever broader range of firearms: eventual confiscation. There is only one reason for the purchase of billions of rounds of ammo, 2700 armored vehicles and drone patrols: to back up the confiscation.

The last election demonstrated how collectively stupid and unaware people are. That is all the stimulus the government needed. I am sure that even they were surprised how successful they were.

Before the flamers get here, let me make sure I made myself clear - I AM INCLUDED in my statement above. Despite all my talk to my family and friends about refusing to comply, burrying my weapons, and sticking a rifle in the face of whoever knocks on the door, the bottom line is, when the day comes, I will cower like a little girl, hand over my weapons, and go back downstairs and finish watching NCIS.

Then maybe you should stop talking. The talk hurts the cause. That is all.

The existence of 2A is certainly our best insurance, but even in the Heller case it was stated that restrictions on that right were reasonable and not unconstitutional.

Because of 2A it would be nearly impossible to get all guns banned here like in Jolly ol' England or Down Under. But... that doesn't mean that even our common use modern black sporting rifles won't be argued to be "unreasonable" in the future. We need to stay politically vigilant. The antis will grab whatever they think they can get if given a chance.

As a lot of veterans have stated; I took an oath to uphold the constitution when I enlisted and that oath hasn't changed. I suspect the Government realizes that there are millions of veterans in the USA that feel the same way, so if confiscation is attempted, it would probably be a very messy affair. To me, confiscation would mean the Government has every intention of indenturing all of us and raiding all bank accounts, corporate and citizen. I don't believe even the most left leaning people would like to experience the outcome of such a Government take over.

NO The reason is to bait us into responding in a way that justifies the use of that arsenal.
There is a reason the information, which could easily be hidden behind a black project is being released. Do not be manipulated.

Support of gun laws is soft and they know it. So they invent some and push our paranoia buttons. And if we or anyone responds, then they get what they want. Please stay calm.

Which may be why YoMama seems to be creating a gestapo recruited from the ranks of AmeriCorpse....

If confiscation comes this will become a major civil rights issue, or at least sensible logic would agree with that. I don't know if we would be so fortunate though, the way the media manipulates the majority we will only continue to be cast as extremists and a threat to society. But if our great nation should succumb to such a tyrannical future i believe the great minds of true patriots could band militias and use their skills to fight back. How many gunsmiths, machinists, engineers, mechanics, survivalists etc. do we have on the pro gun side? I hope big brother reads this and takes that into consideration...

They will just drone strike those patriots into oblivion.

At 36 degrees, in pouring rain and sleet, I'm just imagining all of us 50 year old white guys sitting in the mud filled trench we dug with Billy's backhoe at the perimeter of the neighborhood.

Watching a DHS tactical team approaching in their MRAP.

    Garands at the ready...

    That'll last about a day.
