I've recently started working at the Dick's in Wheaton and I've had a few people come into the store looking for their first home defense shotgun. They've walked away empty handed but completly thankful that I've given them something to seriously consider and that Firearms ARE NOT TOYS, OR TOO LOOK COOL. They've returned a few days later feeling ready and fully prepared to own their first firearm. As much as I dislike turning people away for feeling they are unprepared to buy one, I dislike the idea even more of selling a firearm to someone who feels nervous holding one. Knowledge is the greatest weapon we can have because it makes us feel safe.

There is no replacement for education. None. Good job.
