I believe Olympic Arms made an AR pistol chambered in 7.62X39 which lead to the import ban on super cheap Chinese mild steel core ammo. Who has produced a 5.45 pistol?
The 5.45 bullet is actually larger than .22. Just like 7.62mm/.30 cal is really a .308 bullet.
General question. How do you identify 7N6 (writing on the spam can?) I have some tins left over that I could pull a bullet and cut it open. So stuff "in hand" is easy. But how to identify it on the web? Like, is the stuff AIM is selling 7N6 even though they don't call it that? I notice some vendors specifically mention it and others dont.
I'm more worried about the Ukraine fall out than I am some knucklehead with a Pistol. A lot of 5.45 is manufactured in the Ukraine, and the Soviet surplus stuff might get banned--but neither of these things has actually happened yet. Right now there is a mini-panic but the prices are still much lower than .223 despite this.
Moral of the story is the same as always though:
