I like the AUG/MSAR as well, and will pick it over the Tavor when SHTF.

I own both and shoot the AUG better.

Dont get me wrong, the Tavor is an excellent bullpup. IN fact, i bought two of them.

Tavor get it - get it now:party29:

I love to help other people spend their money.:D

Especially since many on here have feed my addiction of handguns - I quickly went from 2 to 16 in what seems like a blink of an eye.

Get something else. Where are you going to get parts when it breaks?

Its another "wonder-gun" that does nothing special over other 30-50 year old platforms.

Get a soone to be BANNED Rifle you can get parts for:
    Direct Impingement AR
    AK 47/74
    HK 91/G3

Agree. Given my large frame I find the Tavor to be quite uncomfortable to shoot. Not to mention the trigger is so heavy it borders on the absurd...

Get one. The extended muzzle device needed after 10/1 is going to rob the Tavor of one of its primary advantages, that it's an SBR without the short barrel.

Discovering my new love of firearms in the O'Malley kingdom is awful.

So many I want, so little time and cash.

Thought I was done. Haha! )

Would it be a good final salute?

If you want to shoot one come out to Bollinger's on Saturday, 28th Sept. I'll bring mine for you to try. If you like it, you can do a purchase order with Bollinger's that day or purchase online (same day) and have it sent to them.

Gun is very easy to take apart and work on. Although, spare parts aren't readily available at this time, they will be as the market and hype calm down. PA state police are transitioning to all Tavors.... interesting since they built the US headquarters in Harrisburg. There is also a lot of LEO support to buy for their patrol rifle in other states. Will it take off? Who knows, it could be like the Glock .45 GAP which is used mostly by a few state police departments and solved a problem that didn't exist. However, the Tavor does offer real advantages over the traditional M4 in urban environments. What is a fact is that these will be banned in Maryland and the clock is ticking....
