I shot my 365 spretre comp today, im likely going down the same rabbit hole. I seem to point this grip angle betterLOL and I ditched my 43X to go all in with the 365 and 320 rabbit hole.
Ya I’m honestly considering it. The 10 rounds of the 43X is my only turn off.LOL and I ditched my 43X to go all in with the 365 and 320 rabbit hole.
This was me, lol.Ya I’m honestly considering it. The 10 rounds of the 43X is my only turn off.
I already have an M17 which I like better then my other full size Glocks. I have a 228 and a 210 which are fun range toys… makes sense just to let the natural progression and just go full on retard SIG fan boy and jump on this 365 wagon. Just need to find the right one that can replace my 43X… I’ve handled a normal 365, but I want to try the X/XL then now this new Macro.
I'll see if I can find the video I saw on the 365 sprectre comp. I believe it was half of the 70fps quoted reduction, but it was a reduction for sure.Taron butler just did an interesting review of it. He pointed out that the slide comp idea drops velocity about 70fps...because it is a shorter barrel in that full sized slide. He then pointed out that for the 15% reduction in recoil, you could just shoot a softer load and do the same thing.
This is what has always ruined the Glocks for me; grip angle. I grew up on S&W double action revolvers and 1911s and just can't get a Glock to point well....I seem to point this grip angle better
Just to clarify this in my mind: The compensated slide is the same length as the XL, and the barrel is the same length as the P365/P365X? Is the XL style grip frame needed to make this conversion from a standard P365X to a compensated slide model??For me, getting the comp slide was a matter of safety. The regular slide was too short(I just didn't pay attention at first) and I could see under stress, maybe my support hand thumb going in front of the muzzle, because I have some big mitts. The extra inch makes a difference(that's what she said). So, instead of getting a plain XL slide, why not get the comp?
Plus, I foresee me using this thing 1 handed, and the recoil reduction(however much or little you think it is) would certainly help with multiple shots.
You can put the comp slide on the vanilla 365 grip module as well. This is what has always ruined the Glocks for me; grip angle. I grew up on S&W double action revolvers and 1911s and just can't get a Glock to point well.

No. I have one on a standard p365 grip module at the moment. Probably going to switch out to a X size grip though for a better gripThis is what has always ruined the Glocks for me; grip angle. I grew up on S&W double action revolvers and 1911s and just can't get a Glock to point well.

Try an XL 12 rd mag with the sleeve/base pad for the standard grip, lined up they look the same.No. I have one on a standard p365 grip module at the moment. Probably going to switch out to a X size grip though for a better grip
Or these on a 15 rd mag if you have a Wilson Combat grip module.Try an XL 12 rd mag with the sleeve/base pad for the standard grip, lined up they look the same.
Yes. Also the XL guide rod. This is what has always ruined the Glocks for me; grip angle. I grew up on S&W double action revolvers and 1911s and just can't get a Glock to point well.

The 365 has the TD 12 round base plate.I purchased the 365x which came with two twelve rd mags,a standard 365 grip, and one ten rd standard mag.
Purchased 2 of these in straight config. When loaded in standard grip I cannot tell a difference between the standard grip and the xl grip. Carry with the 10rd mag for smaller easy to conceal, and have the 12 rd for mag change.
