Damn CrazyAl passed. I started going to MG when I was 18 and happened to run into him every weekend, mostly him shooting his 22 at 100yds and smoking, always had a pleasant convo.
Yup, always pleasant.
And there a LOT!

DittoI'm glad I live nowhere near Mrytle Grove.
Good range etiquette is when a person needs a cease fire he first ASKS all shooters for that cease fire and then the range goes cold. In an emergency the line goes cold immediately. At BCF&G when a cease fire is called all shooters move behind a yellow line. Nobody touches a firearm at the shooting benches. Good policy! Just a note; Big Brother is always watching at BCF&G.are you hitching about?
That an idiot called 'cold range' without authority?
If someone calls 'cold range' put down your gun
If he does it a second time, put down your gun, and get in his face and ask him what is going on
To paraphrase the Bard, 'rickyp doth protest too much, me thinks'
Been a long time since I have seen the mention of Joe Schmuckatelli. At the risk of an infraction, or ban, you sir, are full of shit.
If a psycho calls cold range, DON'T touch your gun
Then, you can go question this Joe Schmuckatelli, as to what his problem might be
IMO, the only MDS Karen is you

Passed in February. Funeral was in March, had a full police escort from Oxon Hill into MoCo - totally F'ed up 95 - Al would've loved it.
SCAR and I made sure he had some rounds in the casket for his arrival at the big range. I'll miss him.

My 260 was a rifle I bought from him as a 223 bolt gun (he bought it from a PG Co sheriff's deputy). It's now a rifle I'll never sell. Too many good times/memories attached to it.I think i sold him a couple guns back when i lived there
What was his screen name? Do you have his obituary? My 260 was a rifle I bought from him as a 223 bolt gun (he bought it from a PG Co sheriff's deputy). It's now a rifle I'll never sell. Too many good times/memories attached to it.
Haven't been back to MG since he passed. Our main goal was to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves, and no one left with any injuries.
Don't think Al was on the forum, wasn't his thing. What was his screen name? Do you have his obituary?
