Damn it an excuse to buy a handgun... im in, agree on no gay .40cal :)
I say 9mm or pref .45. 22 is also cheap, but it is still 22 (I like them, and have a few, but were taking something w/ our logo, were more powerful than a 22 right :) )
Of course I go SIG but they are $$ not a glock fan but would if price is right. How about a XD or a S&W?
as long as we have a month or 2 to scrape up the cash im an almost definite

My suggestion would be the M&P .22L that was released at the SHOT show this year. It will be a while for it to get to market and then onto the handgun roster. Probably be less than $400 and no one would have one in their collection yet.

    I like the M&P 22 idea. :party29:
Of course... I also like 1911's

Either one is good with me but the M&P is at the top of my list. :)

I really like the M&P 22 as long as we can get a threaded barrel. I would like a 1911 but not sure, it depends on the price.

    How about a Beretta 92FS or M9A1.

Love it or hate it, it is a proven design that has been fielded by our military and several others around the world.

Before the flamers unload their tanks, I'm not saying that the 1911 isn't a venerable design in it's own right, but I am not aware of one that is locally manufactured. The sign on the door does read Maryland Shooters after all, and the US models are built local in Accokeek, so why not keep the money in state.

    Just my 2 cents.

I love my Beretta 92FS Inox. A beautiful piece of weaponry. But, since I already have one, I would want something different for the MDS logo pistol.
