So as curiosity factor, I thought I would post where we ended up.

New configuration:
Victory VAP V1
600 spine
27” shaft
100gr point
AAE Max vanes
Bohning F-nock

Finished weight is ~270gr

The fact her spine is cut below 28”, indicates her dynamic spine is stiffer than the 600 the shaft is rated at.

We had one arrow that she marked as “bad”. Oddly it is arrow #1

I have also decided to invest in a spine tester.

I have read claims in another forum that Victory Archery’s spine markings are correct only 35% of the time. I want to test that claim.

I’m also going to test the claim that the spine location changes as shafts are cut down.
