Orwell... because there is just something special about a British socialist calling out hypocrisy in Russian communists. Pots know kettles. : )

My $.02 and worth everything you paid to hear it.

I support LEOSA. I despise carve outs for special groups. I am all about equality of opportunity and treatment but will not tolerate anything that attempts to impose equality of outcome. I know that if you hold out for a 100% solution to any problem your chances of getting any solution at all is close to 0%. Incrementalism in solutions working toward a goal I favor is acceptable. 10% solution gets me closer to the outcome I desire than nothing and I remain motivated to achieving the other 90%. I support LEOSA but desire Constitutional Carry. I would not turn down either and will take the one on my way to the other.

The wheels of government churn slowly. Some days they make sausage I like and other days they produce garbage.

    Be safe.

If off duty/retired cops were treated just like non uniformed citizens, do you think mag cap laws, semi auto bans, may issue BS etc would pass? They wouldn't. Cops are exempt because they wouldn't enforce the laws otherwise. The politicians know it and some cops are willfully blind to their elite class status.

    That right there is it.
As long as gov. keeps the people separated by political party, laws that apply to some and not others, the people wont realize who it is who is really taking advantage.

You'd rather someone who is "on your side" (which is a whole different debate) be carrying than to be able to carry yourself???

    Interesting

No, that's not what I intended to convey.

I feel it's better for someone competent to be carrying, rather than no one besides the criminal being armed.

I'm pretty sure it was clear in my statement. Go troll someone else's posts,

Haha I see you worked in a piggy joke. That's really funny, have fun on someone else's forum bye.
