S & W Model 19 Combat Magnum One of the best shooting .357's you can buy. Smooth handling, fast, quick, and shoots 38's all day long. I had a friend in the FBI who had one and had some trigger work done to it. WOW...the nicest revolver trigger I had ever felt. ANd the thing was a tack driver. There are lots of nice .357's but this is a personal favorite.

jmcisc, what vintage is the M41?

I bought that one about 1985. It has an A serial number, but no cocking indicator. It's actually the newest of my model 41s. I apologize if this sounds like bragging, but I've collected them since 1974 and have 6 of them, in various configurations.

Here is a picture of the other 5. Sorry for the poor photography.

If I had to choose just 1 revolver I would get a S&W Governor because I already have .45ACP, could use .45LC and I can still find .410 at Walmart. Plus it looks awesome.
