  • Hello all! I figured I'd stop in and introduce myself.
I'm an old Fredneck from way-back before it was cool to wear a FRNX sticker on your vehicle.
I grew up, left the area and did a 5 year enlistment for Uncle Sam, and came back here 20 years ago when I got out. I got a decent job in the city and lived out here near the PA line ever since. I've had other hobbies over the years, but lately interests have turned toward more shooting / outdoor related, for both myself and my wife together - especially as the kids are now off on their own and we have more money and time.
We had a shooting weekend a year or so ago (trap and bird hunt) and had a blast (pun intended). Now looking for more local / more often things to do.

Even with some military shooting experience, it wasn't much in a non-combat MOS and it was so long ago that I still consider myself a new shooter and am trying to learn without any preconceived notions of anything related to it.
Finding this forum was a great find for me as I wanted to link up with local shooters I can have some faith in not leading me into trouble (local laws and such).
