Hello everyone!

Just joined the forums today and I am excited to meet some fellow gun enthusiasts. I have been a resident of Maryland for a few years now but have spent the majority of those years out of country. I've been to just about every crappy Middle Eastern country that you can think of as a soldier and a contractor.

I am looking for some good places to shoot around the Columbia/Elkridge area, any suggestions?

Hidey Ho from SMIBville. I would recomend finding a house that has a large natural backstop where you can shoot in the back yard. Ranges are entirely too much like work. Well settle in with some sweet lemonade ( official beverage ) and enjoy the show.

AGC Marriottsvile is your best bet for all calibers. Fun, friendly, and family oriented range with good safety protocols in place. Indoor ranges are out there too, but you'll be limited in what you can shoot.

As for ranges, Marriottsville is great, but there is also On Target, an indoor pistol-caliber range in Severn, near Ft. Meade.
