You should stop and consider that maybe they are doing what their constituents want. Even the "Republican" ones. Just saying.
Very hard for some to realize.

Yes, but then we shouldn't try to dissuade 2A supporters from withdrawing their support from candidates that have made this political calculation. The cake's already baked, and if their constituents already support them, they won't be hurt by the loss of 2A supporters that chose not to.Very hard for some to realize.
Mine flat fvckin lied to me and everyone down here
...
this, i'm hoping we haven't seen the big picture yet but please give us hint at least.
Remember when this thread was about a piece of legislation?
And now it’s about punishing those who voted for it
Or as many here do , it’s about celebrating that their fake 2a rep bent them over and gave it to them hard and dry and how much they liked getting it that way and hoping it happens again next year
Deb didn’t explain it you yet? Me either.
Steve did and I posted his response somewhere
The republicans are scared shitless and not responding because of it. Down here they need republicans to vote for them and give them money and they aren’t talking, except for Steve, because they’re scared period.
It passed the House of Delegates and is currently sitting in the Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee where it received a second public hearing on Friday, 23MAR2018. It awaits further action there as of the posting of this message. The Chairman indicated that "they have to pass something" and will be working on the bill within the next several days to include any additional amendments/changes that JPR wants to make.

nope their still not replying.( kittlemen not our district) told her i recant your doing a great job statement i gave her for doing a good job during the legislation first readings . Not even a sorry about your feelings reply
I'm saying hold politicians accountable. Here they're even avoiding explanation. It's March, not October. If you don't voice your displeasure and threaten to act on it, the politician will worry about the others that do.fair point, but if you make it a voting issue and then lose, its that much worse the next time (which there will be a next time). Being in the minority, we have to use guerilla tactics. Bump stocks and machine guns are hard for a politician to defend. Even Republican ones. Not even Scalia went there in Heller.
Picking a fight on bump stocks (then losing) will leave the impression our numbers are small for other issues later on (like HQL repeal, or CCW), which they are not.

Ps. This is the red flag legislation bill thread, right?

Write the Republican Critters who voted against this bill and ask them to submit a re@ch @round amendment.
If we're going to get f**ked, we should get something out of it.
You can write them and ask for the Chocolate Cookie recipe, but if they're not responding, what are you supposed to do?
That's all I want. Contact me, don't ignore me. Letters mailed, emails send, calls to office and cell phones. Nothing, nada, zilch.
They'll contact you when they want a donation or for you to put a sign in your yard
