I think the best we can hope for at this point is that the MD Republicans' ploy to bolster Hogan with this anti-2A BS and win a second term so he can be in charge of the redistricting is successful.

If it turns out that way, then we may get a few more Rs in the MGA, and maybe enough to block veto overturns.

It's a long shot because the Ds know the importance, too, and the main reason Hogan won in the first place is that statewide, the Dems just didn't show up for their dud Brown.

I doubt they will make that mistake again, but Hogan's pretty popular overall and there may be a chance he wins again.

I'm not happy that we are the sacrificial lambs for this effort, but I'm hoping that we benefit from it in the end.

well first off, when the republicans vote with the democrats to take our rights as fast as possible are they really republicans? so who are we ceding power to? the dems control everything. period. now they apparently control all but twenty something of the republicans. so whats really the difference.

what are we getting from our reps being the opposition party if they don't oppose taking our rights?

but somehow we either have to get real conservative republicans elected or face the facts that we have lost this state.

and hoping that mike and mike will just roll over for Hogan if he was to get reelected and give his new map to the mga and them accepting it is not even a pipe dream. mike and mike will have , if they don't already, a new map and it will be pushed thru like a soft turd.

personally as soon as I can do it I am moving out of here. I will fight as best I can until then but since only one of my three reps actually did what he was asked to do by their constituents I have only one person in my district to vote for.
