I added new Mickey Thompson wheels, some Texas Liberty LED lights on the "A" pillar, a Spider Shade to help mitigate the Texas sun, and the rock sliders should be installed this week.

Picked up this 2014 JKU Sport back last fall. So far I've added a JCR Offroad bumper and sliders, some Rigid LED spots on the windshield frame, and some Inspired Engineering LED fogs.

I like the color! Love my 2012 JKU, sure a 4door is a bit of a grocery getter but it fits the kids, dogs etc. More than I can say for any of the CJ's TJs, YJs I have had. Its like a Cherokee with a soft top

Looking at getting a Jeep when I sell my 81 Corvette later this summer. It will be my daily driver. What kind of gas mileage do the 90's era jeeps get? Just looking for some idea.

My YJ got about 15 city, 17 highway on 30s with 2" lift, 6cyl auto. My TJ got about 14 combined. Same configuration. My 2012 JKU gets 16 around town, 23 on the highway. Really makes a difference, at least perceptionally but its a lot heavier/bigger vehicle.

A Willys CJ2a here made somewhere around Jan-Feb 1946. Notice that I'm closing the hood having just finishing up messing around with the engine. That seems to be a common occurrence on these old clunkers!

Have the joy of replacing my clutch in the next couple weeks (2010 Rubicon, 88k, second owner.). Putting a Spec Stage 2+ and new flywheel in if anything is interested in a wrenching party.

My 2004 was pretty easy to do (~6 hours by myself), but looks like there's a little more to get out of the way on this one. The 2004 only had one oddball bolt at 12 o'clock. This one has some anti tamper screws on the shift bezel (have the bits already).

May add a 1.25" body lift at the same time (suspension is up already)....bought it about a year ago and never installed.....have to fab some additional brackets/spacers to work with the roof rack. Also haven't decided how to "aesthetically" hide the gap yet.

    My 95yj 2.5 4cyl manual got about 15 - 18mpg
My 2012jk 3.6l 6cyl manual gets 17 - 22mpg the overdrive in the later models is a life saver.

Thanks. Taking it wheeling for the first time tomorrow AM.
Up to this point it's basically been a mall crawler. But tomorrow it's hitting the rocks (and mud since we actually had some rain here yesterday).

My 2005 Rubicon. The building behind the Jeep may look familiar to some. It's the chapel at Evan's City Cemetery, from the opening scene of The Night of the Living Dead.
