Can't you carry a certain number of rounds in you checked back at the airport? And it has to be separate from the gun, but secure? It's still a bit pricey, but this would work well for that.
I have one rimfire pistol, and I have about 3k. Stuff is so cheap, why NOT stock up?
I have maybe...1k or so of centerfire though. Which for me, is a lot.
I owned leek that was D2 and it just wouldn't take an edge as well as I would like. It was tough as nails though. Once it was as sharp as I could get it, it stayed that way. It's just so tough and abrasion resistant that normal sharpening methods don't seem to work very well. I guess if the idea...
Wow...that's purdy. What a cool logo. I like D2, but in a folding EDC...ehh...not my favorite. In a heavy duty camp knife or something, it's perfect. Also, it's easier to see on the stock photos, but the handle scales are quite nice looking.
Their QC is pretty good on most products. Their mid to high range blades are still Japanese steel(AUS 8, San Mai III), even if they're put together somewhere else. The SRK is a good product. A reasonably priced, versatile knife that's weather resistant and so long as you don't go using it as a...
I fire an air rifle once in a while in my back yard. No one has ever said anything or called the police. I live in a townhouse, so I know someone has seen or heard it. Depending on how well you know your neighbors, I would think maybe just asking them if they're cool with it might be enough...
Well...the drama is far from over. The guy is still around, just keeping his distance. I don't expect him to be obeying the protective order forever. It sucks, because I wasn't just looking for an excuse for a permit. I'm genuinely concerned about this guy. I've never, not once, been to court...
Witnesses and the guy didn't show up to court to defend himself. You can get a temporary one against anyone though, it would seem. You have to present your case, but there is no way for them to defend them self when it's only a temporary one. I guess you could just lie...but then it would be...
So some recent events have unfolded...and now I think it's not entirely hopeless to apply for a CCW in MD.
Basically, I have obtained a restraining order against someone on the grounds of stalking. Said person has a criminal history, including criminal possession of a loaded firearm. I don't...
I'd get a Sig in .22lr since they're usually around the $600 mark. Then you can buy a 9mm kit for it for $350-400 and have a cheap plinker you can train with AND a solid defensive weapon for a great price. That's what I did anyway. Or get a used 9mm and buy the .22lr kit. I think that would...
I've spent hundreds on knives that I will not likely use. Sometimes, regardless of price, you just gotta have it. Same goes for guns. Most of us don't NEED tricked out, expensive guns. But that doesn't mean they aren't fun to own.
I LOVE, the pins. Such a cool little detail. And the subtle...
What kind of stupid douche steals something so specific? Like...is there a black market for stolen steel targets out there? Really?! REALLY?! I hope these guys get caught. I would contact local scrapyards and stuff like that, let them know to keep an eye out.
Fair enough...I have never seen anything CLOSE to that bad. Lots of bad shooting, but safety is usually not an issue. But if I saw that, I might not come back either. The RO's could ABSOLUTELY be better, but I don't worry too much. Now, if someone muzzle sweeps ME, there will be a reckoning of...
MSAR is not as bad as some will say. I go there. It's cheap, and they let me shoot my own ammo and don't hassle me to stop shooting. $15 covers the WHOLE DAY, so even if you leave and grab lunch you can come back and keep shooting without paying again. They have shooting glasses for $3 which is...
I was at Atlantic(Rockville) the other day and saw a USED Ruger P95, blued, in what looked like very good condition for $275. I own one, and like it. Honestly I don't think you're going to find anything of quality for 200 bucks. A hi-point will work, but you'll have to get a used one shipped to...
I haven't owned any autos(yet)...but something I would consider is that a S12 uses a detachable magazine instead of a tube. Personally, if I'm gonna be dumping buckshot down the hallway, I'd like to be able to reload quickly and easily. I don't want to fumble with loading shells into a tube...
