If you could only have one revolver, which one?

I am fortunate to own several revolvers - different calibers different manufacturers - If I must pick one it would be my S&W 625JM .45acp moon clips - a pleasure to shoot

Wife brought back some Glock goodies

My wife attended SO/LIC (Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict) conference in Washington D.C. monday-wednesday this week. She brought back a Glock Pen and 2014 Glossy Brochure. I have more than enough handguns of various calibers and types for a lifetime but after reading through...

Some random handgun questions for you experts

For target practice I buy 9mm once fired brass reloads by the ammo can from whomever has the best online deal. Walmart is stocking better than in the past at a reasonable price. As far as shooting - I just point and shoot practice with handguns - with both eyes open on target (both eyes...

      Tis a happy day

Beware - collecting C&R firearms can be very addictive and hazardous to ones pocket book.:D

      Magnetic pistol rods for safe?

Not recommending this to anyone but I have several magnet strips throughout my home and in safe that are used to hold handguns. Instead of always on my hip - nice to be able to place it where I am sometimes - under computer desk, side of workbench, night stand, etc. Been doing this for...

      Hi-Point .40 cal pistol $130

If u could find one local - why not? Adding shipping + transfer fee = approx. $85 for a $130 handgun just seems wrong - certainly from a percentage point of view. Still $215 plus $10 for state is still an inexpensive handgun.:D

      Finally, CCW disapproval

in uniform - family - and try and get a reporter and maybe even camera to join in - - seems to me it would make a great news story.

Gun safe? No, I need furniture...

Nice idea - some short comings that could be overcome: 1. Everyone via youtube knows how to gain access 2. Children can easily gain access Probably others just first blush assessment - which like many of my first blush assessment could be of base.

      Pocket Pistols

If you choose to get an HQL now is good a time as any - it isn't a hassle for previous handgun owners - lots of threads on HQL - check them out.

what cal. to get .270 win or 30 06

I own, and have used my browning bolt action 30-06 every year for 20 years. The caliber was recommended to me by my in-laws in Kentucky. Very accurate ( always have been fortunate with one shot downing deer/yet to miss - but it does kick like a mule with heavy hunting loads. Never...

Can't buy long guns out-of-state anymore?

You can buy long guns out of state - just depends on FFL. Chain stores are problematic . I would bet at any of our out of state IPs - no problem. I plan to buy a long gun during my xmas trip to Kentucky, and bring it back via airline - I've called ahead (kygunco) - not a problem.

      MY HQL IS ACTIVE!!!!

What are the MUST HAVE Rifles???

      VZ58
    18. F

      Complete AR15

      Colt 6721
    19. F

      Complete AR15

I prefer VZ58 over AR15 or AK - if you haven't yet check them out. Hickok 45 does a good comparison of VZ58 versus AK - and shoots both. VZ58 is reliable/durable/accurate/fun to shoot/cash and carry (if configured properly) and cheap ammo - what's not to like?
