Ah ok. I didn't know that. The last class I took, instructor handed out a loose leaf paper with the info on the individual purchase program. And if we wanted to put in an order then and there, to fill it out and give it to him.
Do you guys offer your classes on a regular basis? It would be nice since you guys aren't that far from Hampton Roads. It would allow me to re-up my certification with you guys versus always having to travel and wait for Glock to show up on my neck of the woods. Also, will you guys have forms to...
I agree. I just like hearing things from the horses mouth and actually being able to put "Glock Professional Armorer" on business cards so those are the pluses for the course. the fancy books you get are nice and reference manuals and the blue label discount you get as a Glock Professional...
As a VA resident, is there anything I need to know to attend the Combat Hangun course in July? Didn't know if there was a magazine capacity restriction or what not.
thanks!
Yeah, I've reloaded on a single stage in the past but sold that setup last year. Was hoping to be in a house by now with a nice progressive setup, but had to push that house purchase back another yet. really considering getting a reloading setup again but with the last of primers and powder, i...
With the current climate in regards to ammo, how has this change the way you go out to shoot both recreationally or for training purposes?
For me, I still hit up the range once every two weeks and shoot between 200-400rds between my carbine and my pistol. Some times I go out and just shoot...
Yeah, I now go to the range with specific purposes of training in mind whether it is accuracy, shooting on the move, shooting from barricades, multiple targets, etc. Gone are the days I just go out to plink at steel.
This man speaks the truth. On top of that, I'm sure all the full time training companies are seeing a hit this year with the whole gun control debacle. People aren't able to attend training because they can't find ammo at a reasonable price or they can't replenish their war stocks if used for...
hahaha of course, i pick up an extra shift at work this saturday when there's a Handgun II class. On top of that, I move July 4th weekend so the July one is out for me too!
Totally agree. I was looking to take one course a month but with the way ammo is i've had to make some modifications. I'll probably be taking more instruction from local or unknown types versus instructors like Redback One, Vickers, Magpul, etc. Nonetheless, I am heading to the RB1 West VA...
I mainly wear a plate carrier for protection during carbine courses. I wear soft armor or hard 3A armor during pistol competitions almost all the time. I'm a firm believer in wearing the armorer during dynamic competitions and training events. A lot of people look at me funny until they confront...
Thanks for that Grizzly. Didn't mean to start anything here. Just wanted to know if it was part of the curriculum is all. NRA has yet to get back to me after 3 emails.
Since we're on the subject of realistic training ... how do you induce the adrenaline rush so that the student knows how their body will react and change drastically due to fear.
