I searched the instructors name and they are mentioned in some threads. Given I have this as second hand information information I don't feel comfortable naming them directly. But my buddy was contacted by the MSP a few days after the instructor informed his recent customers he was busted. As far as did my friend know the class was short ? Given the repercussions of all this I again am reluctant to comment.

Take away from my non post post is if something doesn't seem right walk away find another instructor. Right or wrong constitutionally MSP is definitely taking this seriously.

From being shanghied into being the VP of a state organization and the President working to get his business back in shape after the 2013 session, so I ended up being the "face" of the organization during the 2014 session.

That's called a massive amount of game. Some have it. Some don't.

On top of that, I got the opportunity to become a full time volunteer staff member of one of (in my mind) best State Delegates this state ever had, Mike Smigiel, uner the Andy.
If the first year as Vice President taught me how the sausage was made from the public side, the second year (Now President) taught me how the sausage was made from the working side.
I wouldn't trade either year of the experience for any thing.

The law says 16 hours. It’s not ambiguous. Unless you are an idiot, you know corners were cut. If you don’t demand your 16 hours, you are complicit.

Thank you. When taking a class, this is a, hard, objective standard that matters. It doesn't matter what we think, believe, hope, wish or pray for. This is what we must do...except for those willing to be a test case.

My 16 hour W&C class is set for October 23. I chatted with my instructor yesterday and we all damn well know we must, and shall, hit the 16 hour mark.

Smigiel was a good man. Had guts and spoke loud in a state where most of his legiscritter colleagues just wanted him to go away.

Sausage making isn't pretty.

Apparently MSP can also revoke your permit if you don’t have it on you when you are carrying…

Yeah but they don't take away your drivers license if you don't have it.

Would you rather be charged for carrying without a permit?
I mean I don’t agree with permits but till we get stuff constitutionally, we have to deal with what we have. They can take your firearm as well.
