Has MAC thrown it in mud, filled it with ice, and chucked it at concrete yet? Only then can it be army approved. :lol2:

Sweet! Maybe Sig will actually start making Caliber Exchange Kits again... I've had a P320 Carry (Full sized grip / Compact sized slide) in 40 since they came out, thinkin I could get a Full, Sub, and a Carry in 9 later on. Zippy chance in finding caliber exchange kits since... I have both a Glock 19 as well, and the 320 hands down, has a better trigger.

    Where they send me.
I'm a Beretta fan and never had issues with any I carried while in or on the ranges I ran when they were being fired (aside from the bad batch of ChekMate mags in the early 2000's).

That said, I'm sort of glad someone else won so now they will be badmouthed and blasted by all sorts of rumors once they get to the force. Sort of wish it was Glock for that reason, but since I think Glock will protest the contract and look like sore losers it may be a win all around for me and my twisted thought process.

I will be surprised if the contract actually goes through (less than 50% chance in my mind with Trump coming in and GEN Miley likely not wanting to spend that amount on a new pistol of any sort) and Glock likely fighting it.

Even if it does it will be years before the SIG 320 is in service.

I do hope the CMP gets the Berettas whenever they do get retired, or at least mags and parts.

I have a 92FS and a 226. I enjoy the 92FS more. I can't tell any differences in accuracy between the two, but I am not that good. I do not like the sig trigger. Sometimes, I get two shots from a single pull of the sig if I'm not paying attention to trigger/hand position.

I have both the Sig P320 and 226 in 9mm and definitely prefer the 226. It just seems more solid and better balanced to me. But make no mistake, the 320 is great too and would be my go-to CCW if I only had a permit to do so in MD!
