At the fall Timonium 2013 I was volunteering with Lou and someone was attempting a "walk around" with a Taurus 82. I had to pointedly tell him that all times I needed to see the firearm. He claimed he was trying to get a feel for the weight of it. That guy was hilarious to watch.

Does that mean I shouldn't ask to take firearm for a test drive :D

@Sundazes Wolf target match. Its made by Lapua. Im sorry, pricing is only available at the show.

@Protegev Its a double edged sword. People dont understand business. It took me 6 months to even see .22 and people dont believe you when you tell them that wholesale prices have doubled for hard to find calibers. Which is why prices are not what they used to be. Once I sell them I have no idea on a replacement time.

As long as your margins don't go up by 200% you are selling at a fair price. If people don't understand that you are paying double- screw em.

I was making a point. Many don't understand that if your purchase cost goes from $10 to $20, your selling cost goes from $14 to $28 (assuming 40%).
I take issue with dealers whose cost didn't increase, but their margin doubled or tripled- Cheaper Than Dirt ring a bell?

Good luck with that. I have standing orders with midway and cabelas for .22 that dates back to last year.

I thought the Filipino festival was at this location, this Saturday.

It might be. The last time I went to a gun show at the fairgrounds my wife went to the tot swap consignment show there. There was also another kids event at the cow palace. There are 3 halls. The gun show is only in one.

Hope to be there early Saturday morning with Tim Robinson, the Republican candidate for State Senator in District 42. Tim is going to try to unseat Jim "Turncoat" Brochin. If you would like to meet Tim or have any questions for him, keep an eye out and don't be shy.

How is my asking about 80% receivers beating a dead horse? Is there or is there not a vendor that sells them at this show? Simple yes or no question. It is a hunk of metal. Nothing illegal about buying a hunk of metal.

Your profile says that you're a Maryland resident.

Do you intend to finish that AR lower? Or is it just for use as a paperweight?

If it's the latter, my apologies.
