Even a 6:15 AM there is 269 guests. HUH..Who'd a thunk that?
Some people checking in before work. Some probably left the page open on their computers when they went to sleep last night.

There are almost 500 people online here at 1 in the morning on a Tuesday. Anyone who thinks our community can be rolled over needs to check into a clinic.
We turned a corner.
THis is, and has been, truly amazing to watch and be a prt of.
I hate to be a jerk, but there are more good things to come...
That's great, and also a fine reason that a lot of the BS going on in a couple of the other hot threads could be counter-productive.
Can guests see the WC?
I THINK I read in another thread yesterday that an amendment has to be under the same title or something like that?? Basically HB579 was about training for retired LEO. therefor he could amend it to change anything about training and permits etc. I don't think you can put a "gun bill" amendment on a budget or casino bill. Hope someone can chime in on this to make sure I am correct.Good as in good or good as in aw crap, not again ???
Peter Franchot was on WMAL this morning SLAMMING Miller and Owe'Malley for not passing a budget while respectively playing 'casino games' and campaigning nationally. If Frosh decides to 'tag' HB579 stuff onto the budget or casino bills that will be brought up in the special budget session, someone should contact both Franchot and WMAL since he was on their morning program calling Owe'Malley and Miller out.
If the Governor, Frosh, and Miller would do their jobs instead to trying to screw the gun owners of MD, or placating illegals and gay marriage proponents, they could have passed a balanced budget that wouldn't have horrendous tax increases or draconian cuts ... at least that's Franchot's cut on it. They had just ONE thing to accomplish and that was produce a budget ... and they failed because they have an progressive agenda to push.

Constitution of Maryland said:SEC. 29. The style of all Laws of this State shall be, "Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland:" and all Laws shall be passed by original bill; and every Law enacted by the General Assembly shall embrace but one subject, and that shall be described in its title; and no Law, nor section of Law, shall be revived, or amended by reference to its title, or section only; nor shall any Law be construed by reason of its title, to grant powers, or confer rights which are not expressly contained in the body of the Act; and it shall be the duty of the General Assembly, in amending any article, or section of the Code of Laws of this State, to enact the same, as the said article, or section would read when amended. And whenever the General Assembly shall enact any Public General Law, not amendatory of any section, or article in the said Code, it shall be the duty of the General Assembly to enact the same, in articles and sections, in the same manner, as the Code is arranged, and to provide for the publication of all additions and alterations, which may be made to the said Code.

My thoughts exactly. I think the sleeping giant is awake. We ain't going back after the past 2 months.
It surprises me that the antis in MD cannot see this exactly like the civil rights movement in the 60's. They certainly were passionate about that. Guess they don't view the 2A in the same light, even though it s exactly the same thing. I'd like to ask Frosh his position on civil rights and then ask what he thinks the the difference is.

Freaking love it.
I'd adjust with an additional explanation of who Frosh is, as in ", referring to MD Senator Brian Frosh, a lawyer who objected to civil immunity for those defending themselves from criminal attackers in their own homes."
