I noticed a man today that I had never met before, and didn't get a chance to speak with. He wore a Maryland flag inspired tie, but his tie also had Patriotic themes, such as eagles, guns, flags, cannons, and olive branches.

Most all of us know Maryland's tremendous history of supporting the Union during it's most troubling times facing the oppression from England. We also recognize the incredible part Maryland played during the Civil War, and how triumphant 'we' were during all of America's wars since.

Now, in this thread is a chance for you to post a few words or even an image paying tribute to the honors that the great state of Maryland has deserved.

Patriotism in Maryland crosses over all divides; there are no boundaries, regardless of race, color, creed, religion, or political affiliation. We are the people of Maryland and if you want to subjugate us, ... if you want to take our means to defend our families, communities or way of life.

    Come and take them.
