How long did it take?

Two weeks short of a year I believe. Granted I ordered at a bad time. Normal lead time is about 6 months which given the quality for the price I could deal with. With the spike in panic buys the wait had climbed to a year but I think its on the way back down now. I know for a while they couldn't get barrels and that was slowing the process down.

Target was my first 10 shot group at 100 yards with handloads after sighting in with Burris AR-332 scope. Had a couple of operator error flyers but it's a great shooter. Just needs a higher power scope and maybe a trigger upgrade someday.

Where did you manage to find a Mega side charge upper receiver?

Honestly can't remember. Think I may have found it on Gunbroker but it's been a few years since I bought it. After your post I checked a few online sources and they were out of stock.

Huge fan of this upper because of the extra thickness...incredibly strong. Side charging option appealed to me too...seemed like it would have the same functionality as a traditional forward assist but to me looks much better. If I ever build another AR15 or different upper for the one I have, will most likely try to find another one of these and use it.

Yes, they are great. Dawn and the other lady are so friendly, and they have first class products. Best little never heard of website around. hahahahaha

I was getting all kinds of lower parts from them for the first 8 months aftert Newton, when you could not find them anywhere else. Then.....I guess too many others found them too!! hahahahahahah

Yeah, it feels uncomfortable too far forward...and I have pretty long arms. And yeah, wanted to go big for this cause it's my only lower. should've gotten at least one more
