Yeah, $10 for a brick of 22LR is real, just like 69 cent gas is real. I remember gas for 27.9 cents during a gas war, and my Dad remembers 16.9 cent gas...none of it is coming back. I think that if we see $18 for a brick of 22LR that it will be a miracle. We are not going to see $39 for a Mosin again...and the list goes on...

I was paying $2 a box of 100 for CCI Mini Mags ($10 per 500) back when gas was in the 40 cent per gallon range.

The article in the OP speculated on $10 a brick 22lr in the future. I was just quoting this (with a little sarcasm). I wouldn't bet on it, but I wouldn't be surprised either.

I'm thinking we'll see 30c/rd of 5.56 by xmas. Now if we can just get 9/45 cheaper... I've seen 9mm for 24-26c/rd recently for brass. i'm hoping it goes to 21/22.

22lr, we're all out of luck. I've seen people with 80k rds for sale on Gunbroker at 10 c rd... so we just need to hold out ... its coming
