Roy Rogers' Happy Trails foundation is raffling a pair of silver-plated pistols and an incredible rig.
I am planning to win this.
A bit fancy looking for my taste. Best of luck to you.

Tickets are $10 at: http://www.happytrails.org/index.html
I'm only telling you this as a courtesy. If you want to buy a ticket for commemorative purposes or to support a good charity, that's OK. I am planning to win this.

Taylor's 1911 is legal for Wild Bunch shooting, and the shorter 73 would be nice if it held and fed short .38 Specials. I'm done purchasing SASS guns for a while, I'm even selling that Cimarron I just picked up.
Had no idea re the 1911. Have a line on a nicely discounted, new, good quality 1873 Winchester that shoots 38 and 357, but don't know about 38 shorts.
My 92 clone shoots .38 Special if they're loaded out long with 158gr LRN bullets, but with the short 125gr bullets, it starts to misfeed. Looking to sell that one, too.
To reliably shoot .38 Special in my 1892 clone, I load a 147 gr. truncated cone that mimics the overall length of a .357 Magnum round. The bullet isn't a true cone, it's actually more of a truncated ogive. I buy them from Moulton Lead in Vermont.

fidelity, after reading through this thread you seem to be finding lever actions all over the interwebs. Do you know any local FFL's that carry a selection? I'm looking for a .357/38spl lever gun. I'm not reading any good things about the new Marlins but they don't seem to be available any way. I've found some Rossi R92's online but would like to shop local if possible.
Either way, it's been traded for a 92 takedown in 32-20 made in 1922 All of my leverguns are now in original, BP cartridges.
The cloud of smoke, after rapid fire, must be impressive.
