    Nevermind...

I found my answer. The exemption pertains to the training.

    6. Lawfully owns a regulated firearm. If you already own a handgun or assault weapon prior to October 1, 2013, you do not have to complete the training to apply for the Handgun Qualification License.

Now it just seems like the state wants 50 dollars from me.

    Still sad... :(

My husband heard from an FFL that they called MSP and they stated that the printer issue is only related to security guard IDs and shouldn't have an impact on HQL IDs.

So, maybe once they knew we knew, they took a printer from the security processes and put it into play for HQLs??!!

    ;)

No clue....but why not be more specific in your homepage announcement? Should be interesting to see.

Maybe somebody forgot to order the ink?

My big gripe is I don't see any benefit to the HQL, I now need to pay money to exercise my constitutional right and I don't get any benefits. I still need to wait 7+ days to pickup my firearm, 1 regulated firearm every 30 days or 2 every 60.
