HQL Printer Card Delay

Now that MSP are announcing on their site that HQL ID cards will be delayed by approximately 3 weeks due to printer issues, shall we track turn around time?

Application active: 1/6/14
Received ID card: ???

That's not what I'm being told by MSP. "No license, no gun". Do you have verification that we can sell without the physical license?

I can see people guessing at numbers without the license and being able to buy a handgun.

This isn't a shock.

The printer they use for these has a limited lifecycle, and supposedly maintenance is pretty tightly required.

In a way, this was even expected... just a matter of "when"

The GA has to pass the appropriation and we'll get it June 1.

Make that July 1 and we'll have all hands on deck.

No seriously, by August 15.

Labor Day weekend they outsource it to the BGF's baby mommas.

AELR hearing in September they admit they aren't allowed to handle their own budget anymore because of an audit that had a finding of financial malfeasance.

October 1 only new apps get processed and old apps molder away another 6 months because, "See, we told you we could do it!"

Soooooo why cant they print out the license on paper for now until they get their printer fixed. Then send you the card version when they are able? ... If they are worried about counterfitting the paper wouldnt that be a non-issue as MSP should be checking the given license number against the individual it was assigned to right?
